Who We Are

Church is more than a building. It is more than a uniform or a rulebook. Church is a community. A community of people dedicated to serving  each other and those around them, loving extravagantly, and showing what it really means to follow the example of Jesus. Church is a gathering. A place of welcome. A place of belonging. A place of freedom. Church is a movement. Fighting against injustice. Speaking up for those unable to speak for themselves. Standing with the widow, the orphan, the lonely, the depressed, and the outcast. Church is a haven. It is a people of hope, a people who have been given a second chance and want to give a second chance. It is a people who do not judge, where prejudice is not tolerated, and where status is secondary to service.

Our DNA

  • Welcoming

Everyone is welcome here. To be welcomed means you are not judged. To be welcomed means there is no prejudice. To be welcomed means that everyone is treated the same. There is no hierarchy, no preferential treatment, no VIP area.

  • Loving

We are a community of love. We love extravagantly, we love selflessly, we love practically, we love relentlessly. We believe that love conquers all. It is the most important thing, and we love because God first loved us.

  • Active

Faith is something active, something real. The outworking of our faith can be seen in our streets, our communities, our schools, universities, workplaces, coffee shops, and homes. It is a daily part of our everday lives.

  • Transformational

You are welcome in our community just as you are. But the more we know God, the more we become like Him and see our lives transformed by the power of his love. Things may never be the same again. Exciting times.

Get Involved

  • Come on Sunday

Sunday mornings are a great chance to meet together, have a free coffee and breakfast - sing together, learn together, and grow together. The 4th Sunday of every month we don't meet at church but go out into the community, serving those around us in practical ways.

  • Join a Union Group

Union Groups are simply smaller groups that meet throughout the week in people's homes. They are a great opportunity to really get to know people, ask tough questions, study the Bible, pray, and just be yourself. These groups are the heart of who we are as a church.

  • Serve in Teams

We love to roll our sleeves up and get our hands dirty serving one another. There are a wide range of opportunities to get involved with. Whatever it is, we encourage everyone to get involved - it's a great way to meet people and play your part in the vision of the church.
